The Burn Factor
The “Burn Factor” is a term we use at JDL to describe the amount of money we consider someone to be burning each week by NOT implementing an investment strategy! At JDL Strategies, we won’t take you on as a client if the benefits to you becoming a client are not greater than the costs. If your benefits have been determined to be greater than the costs, then the money you put towards your financial future by following our strategy should provide you with a net financial gain. To put it bluntly, the strategy outlined in this report is designed to make you money. So when someone who can invest chooses to wait ... we consider that they are burning their money each week that they sit still! We actually have a calculation for the Burn Factor. It is defined as the average weekly financial difference between executing the JDL Strategy and continuing as you are until retirement.
